Professional Housing Management & Compliance
Our parent company Lenzy Hayes Incorporated has been in continuous operation since 1952 in the business of ownership and management of conventional and affordable housing. We began management of HUD subsidized housing communities in 1974. We began the management of Rural Development (formerly Farmers Home Administration) in 1977. Hayes-Gibson International Incorporated began management of Section 42 (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) housing in 2002. We take compliance very seriously and have no projects that have less than a SATISFACTORY Management Review Score and all REAC Physical Inspection Scores under our management are passing.
Lenzy Hayes & Hayes Gibson's compliance professionals direct and monitor federal, state, and local compliance of approximately 5,000 affordable housing units and have worked extensively with the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), and its administration and monitors, as well as respective housing agencies in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
Our staff members are offered opportunities to attend training with agencies such as The National Center for Housing Management (NCHM), Zeffert & Associates, HUD, The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and many others to maintain the most current level of knowledge in the affordable housing practices & standards. In addition, the corporate staff organizes an annual conference for all managers and maintenance staff to attend that gives them the opportunity to hold annual Fair Housing training, up to date practices and procedures and to recognize the hard work and diligence that it takes to manage a community.
